A Review and GIVEAWAY!
God's Word is so important and integral to the life of a Christian. As an adult, hopefully we have seen the worth of the Scriptures, particularly how it pertains to our growth as Christians and our understanding of the Person of God and His will for our lives.
As Christian parents, we are mandated to teach our children the Scriptures. Parents are exhorted in Deuteronomy 6 to thoroughly train and saturate their children in the Scriptures.
“You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."We all need help in this great responsibility and blessing of parenthood. Without God, none of this is possible. Parenting is too difficult a job to accomplish without the guidance of our own Father in Heaven, and this guidance comes primarily from His Word.
